Journey of Hope is designed to be a simple, thoughtful process that brings our community together to support a local family in need. Every step of this process is made possible through the support of our community.
Nominations Open
Community members submit nominations for families in Batesville and surrounding counties who are facing financial hardship, medical challenges, or difficult life circumstances.
Family Selection
One family is thoughtfully selected based on need, circumstances, and the potential impact this experience could have.
Trip Planning
​Megan’s Amazing Adventures works closely with the selected family to plan a meaningful, stress-free getaway tailored to their needs.
Sharing the Impact
​With permission, we share parts of the family’s journey to celebrate the impact of this program and the community that made it possible.
Review Process
All nominations are carefully reviewed by the Journey of Hope Advisory Circle — a small group of trusted, community-minded individuals who help guide the selection process.
The Reveal
The selected family is surprised during a special Journey of Hope Reveal Celebration, where they learn about their trip surrounded by support from the community.
The Journey
The family sets off on their trip — taking time to relax, reconnect, and create lasting memories together.
